And the extras came there none. Not even any decent sleeve-notes. Which is a pity, because with a double-length first episode on the first disc, there should be more than enough space at the end of the second for prezzies.
There would be plenty of interest to add, as well - an interview with Mary Wesley, letting the viewer in on just how much of the story was autobiographical, or a commentary on the exceptional orchestral score, or something to let the viewer know which part of Cornwall the programme depicts.
The lack of any extras makes the package appear skimpy and skinflint by comparison to what can be, and often is, provided by film distributors and other TV companies.
