The film is presented here well and anamorphically. The colours are true, the picture is razor sharp and the skin tones have a grey tired hue which is wholly deliberate. The soundtracks provided are French stereo and 5.1 and they add to the tense spooky feel of the film. In the sequences in the house at night you can hear the space and the background noises acutely. The English subtitles are excellent, easy to read and cover meaningful rather than literal translation.
The disc contains a 25 minute interview with the director about how he wrote and prepared the film which is in his rather excellent English. The disc contains 6 featurettes on different aspects of the film from set design to casting, and trailers for this movie and Moll's previous film. The package is topped off with filmographies of the main cast members. The extras are presented so that you won't have to change your aspect ratio after watching the main feature.
Overall, this Artificial Eye disc is a must see for any fans of French thrillers.
