(The following is true of the screener copy sent for review) One Day In Europe comes on a DVD-5 single layer disc with no extras. The transfer is a tad thin when watched on a large screen, and the picture is good, but you may want to turn your contrast down when watching the disc. It is surprisingly not anamorphic, but the colour balance is reliable. The overall look is not exceptionally sharp for such a new film.
The audio is multilingual with burnt in subtitles dealing with the non-English dialogue. The subtitles are very legible and make sense. The audio itself is clear without distortion, hiss or pops and the soundtrack music comes over well. The disc lacks extras.
The Peccadillo Pictures disc is ok, but it could have been much better with an anamorphic transfer, removable subtitles and some extras.
