Okay, so apologies to those of you who turned up to Rushmore expecting to see BILL MURRAY -- we've been informed that he's not in Edinburgh after all. However the delectable OLIVIA WILLIAMS and STEPHEN McCOLE did turn up to provide the photographers with something to snap at.

What they didn't realise was that just down the road an absolute media frenzy was taking over the Cameo as actress PATSY KENSIT came to the premiere of Janice Beard:45 wpm ... with her boyfriend. Yes, that one out of that band (Mr Gallagher). Poor old me, I ended up sitting two seats in front of them, but the security was just too tight to... anyway, I digress.

Fellow Inside Out-er, Salty, felt rather sorry for poor Eileen Walsh, the star of the show, who looked a tad neglected by the gathered media hounds outside the cinema. The audience did her justice though, by heartily cheering her onto the stage.

Even so, not everyone in the audience was happy - the poor wee girl who plays the young Janice was unable to get a ticket for her dad...

Finally, a funny thing happened today in the delegate centre, you know where us media types hob-nob with the stars. I was making idle conversation with Robert Sarkies, in town promoting the fun student romp Scarfies, when we were politely asked to clear the area so it could be used for "Directors Drinks". Cue one bemused director and one embarassed member of the hospitality team. I guess that's the price of fame.
