THE Script Factory is an organisation concerned with developing new screen-writing talent and the highlight of their series of events at the festival is a live reading of a script currently in development. As well as being interesting in their own right the readings also allow a sneak preview of an upcoming film project. This year's reading is a gritty urban fairytale set in Glasgow about a serial killer. The film is being developed with commercials director Matt Forrest and Geordie hard man Jimmy Nail.
