This is a quirky, superficial romantic comedy from Canada about an attractive art curator Alessa Woo (Sook-Yin Lee) who is unsure whether she is looking for love or money, since she never seems to be able to find both in a man at the same time. Although light and frothy in tone, the protagonist's charm is spread thin, the leading man (Adam Beach) is dull and the secondary characters are acting parts in a pantomime. The resolution to this fairytale-like story is also (unintentionally) depressing in its glibness.
