IF you didn't see this one first time around (or second, or third, for that matter), you might want to catch the re-release of "Grease". After all, it doesn't get much cheesier than this. With guys' bouffants rivalling girls', gum smacking with lots o' attitude, and crooning and swooning aplenty, what more could you want?
Sandy's (Olivia Newton-John) sweet and innocent version of their "Summer Nights" clashes with the embellished version Danny (John Travolta) imparts to his friends, and therein lies the cause of their falling out. Danny's one of the bad boys in high school, and Sandy's the good girl, and never the twain shall meet... or so it might seem.
This 1970's/1950's mish mash may be your thing, if over-the-top musicals, John Revolting shaking his stuff and Olivia Neutron Bomb singing her cotton socks off turn your crank. Then again, maybe not.
