THIS kooky Australian satire picks up where "Muriel's Wedding" and "Strictly Ballroom" left off, but ends up being less satisfying with the oddball humour getting the better of the frivolous storyline.

The plot revolves around the rivalry between two twin brothers, the nervous and twitchy Stephen (Boswell), and the elder, more successful Rick (Young), over the same girl Melissa (Burrows). Most of this takes place in the kitsch "Hotel De Love", a place with themed rooms (Garden of Eden and stoneage cave, etc), snogging honeymoon couples and a croaking old piano singer.
