This program is different because it takes what real people have said and makes it funny in the mouths of animals. The animation is as good as you'd expect from the creators of Wallace And Gromit and Chicken Run. The scene with the sea anenomies getting covered in oil is a brilliant example.
It's humorous, but it's not absolutely amazing. That said, the scene with the dung beetle ("I don't know what aliens look like. They might just be a ball of gas, or a certain colour of light") is really funny, because of the way it's said.
The film doesn't have to be watched all at once, because it has seven episodes, each of which is on a different theme, such as the pets in a pet shop discussing their lives on the shelf and aliens wondering whether there are any aliens "out there".
Just for kids? No, it's for everyone - even my dad liked it.
I think that anyone can watch Creature Comforts. Even three-year-olds, who probable won't get the jokes, will enjoy looking at the animals.
