BASEMENT rockers from Robert Kennedy High School, Cleveland, have one thing on their minds. Not sex - that was American Pie, durrrhh!! Something far more awsomelic. Yesss!!! Four tickets to the Kiss concert in Detroit. Yagottabelieveit!!!!

The film's producer is Gene Simmons, the notorious lizard-tongued front man of a band everyone thought blew themselves away in the Seventies, painted faces and all. Now, it seems, they're back on the senior circuit, with The Eagles, Velvet Underground and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.

As a teaser, this movie hypes the old glammers, with a story of such banality it encourages brain death. Four high school kids borrow/steal mom's Volvo, have adventures/disasters, meet uninteresting people, lose/find/lose their tickets and behave like zapped teenage head cases -- exception 16-year-old Sam Huntington, as the nice one. Do we care if they make the gig? Let's hear it!! NOOOOO!!!!!
